Digital product purchases are processed entirely by Gumroad (international) or Instamojo (India). DAVnSCI does not receive, collect, or store any payment card details, banking credentials, or financial account information. We may receive a transaction confirmation (such as an order ID and the purchaser's email address) from these platforms to fulfil your order.

2.5 Project and Consultancy Engagements

When you engage us for consultancy or training services, we may collect additional professional information necessary for the delivery of those services — including research data, institutional details, and project documentation. This information is handled under the confidentiality obligations described in our Terms of Service.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries — contact form submissions are used to assess your requirements and send a response
  • To send confirmation communications — automated email acknowledgements are sent when you submit a contact form or subscribe to our newsletter
  • To deliver newsletter communications — subscribers receive periodic updates about our services, resources, and publications
  • To fulfil digital product or service orders — transaction data received from payment platforms is used to deliver purchased products

Contact form submissions and newsletter subscriptions are stored in our Supabase database, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the ap-south-1 region (Mumbai, India). Your data is therefore stored within India.

Email notifications triggered by contact form submissions are sent via GoDaddy SMTP services. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect stored data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share personal data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Gumroad — if you purchase a digital product as an international buyer, your transaction is processed by Gumroad, Inc. Their privacy policy governs the data they collect.
  • Instamojo — if you purchase a digital product in India, your transaction is processed by Instamojo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Their privacy policy governs the data they collect.
  • Legal compliance — we may disclose personal data if required by law, court order, or a government authority in India.

We do not share data with advertising networks, social media platforms, analytics providers, or any other third parties.
